BIGOATEE??? WTH???

Hi!  You may be wondering about the blog name... It's unusual I know but I like it.

It's a play on the word "bigote".

BIGOTE is the Filipino word for MOUSTACHE.  And yes, I do have a moustache... most of the time... if I didn't shave...  So what's up with the spelling?  Well, I also have a goatee... most of the time... if I didn't shave...

So there it is... Moustache + Goatee = Bigoatee!!!  Yeah!!! That's my word invention!!! And you read it here first! So there!

I thought of the blog name 'coz one time, my wife reeeeaaaalllyyy wanted me to shave my moustache and goatee that as we were separating for work and as she was boarding a taxi.. she intended to say shave your facial hair!!! but instead she just blurted out... "BIGOTE" which she tried to say with as much sarcasm as she could muster but later made her snicker and laugh... I knew what she meant but I just snorted and smiled and then laughed bcoz her words mixed up and it came out differently.. hehehe. So that bigote outburst continued to be an inside joke for both of us... and now you're in on the joke too.

I just merged the goatee spelling on BIGOTE just for the pazzaz... I just love how new words are invented everyday... If this catches on, remember me and my blog and thank my wife!!!
