Legal disclaimers on emails are BS!

Ha! I say it again... HA!  I knew it! I knew it was all BS...

Almost all of us have received these disclaimers on emails saying "If you have received this email in error, pls notify.. blah-blah" or "If you read this email and it's not for you, this email will self destruct in .001 seconds"... boom!

I just found out that these disclaimers are all BS! As per the Economist website, these disclaimers are unenforceable and legally meaningless.  It tries to put the recipient into a legal agreement which he never bargained nor negotiated for.  If anything, these disclaimers should be illegal for trying to put you into a binding contract without your consent or forcing you to agree.  It's like saying "If you read this, then you now agree to the terms"... WTF?!?

Anyway, if you want the full article, you can find it here at the economist website.

Keep happily mumbling away...
